Sold out fundraiser screening at the Cube!

UWE Animation’s 2024 degree show committee organised a successful sold-out screening at the Cube! The annual screening has become an Animation tradition, and helped raise hundreds of pounds for their final year show taking place in June.

There were beautiful displays of homebaked goodies, stickers, and prints onsale, as well as a very special book featuring the wit and witticisms of UWE Animation lecturers. Students held a very lively auction where audience members bid on specially designed T-shirts featuring staff expertly photoshopped into well known paintings.

Organisers from the degree show committee, Amber Lee and Maisie Race, said they ‘really enjoyed organising the cube event which turned out to be a very fun night with a full house! It was nice to see everyone come together during a busy time and enjoy a night of amazing films and entertaining hosting. Thanks to all those who helped out and for everyone who came, it’s really helped us move forward with our degree show fundraising. We look forward to hosting more events in the future!’
